NBN and their odd changes

Should NBN show every Knights game at some time over a weekend?

Why has NBN(the local station in Newcastle) changed its football format?
In previous seasons, the Knights games, if not coming through channel nine, were always broacast, from Fox footage at sometime in the wwekend. This year, it only happened once, with the Melbourne game. Why have they done this? It was great, but not ny more.

Any body got answers?

Not NBN's fault, the answer lies with Fox, they are reluctant to give NBN access to the games. Why they changed their stance on the Melbourne game I'm not sure. I think NBN are trying to negotiate something with them for next season, wouldn't hold my breath though.

Yeah I was wondering why they weren't showing every Knights games like they used too.

I think in the early days Fox sold the games to NBN partly to give FTA veiwers a look at the Fox product in the hope that it would sell fox to some of them. Now they want too much money for it, and lets face it it is their product, and probably one of the major considerations when people sign up for Foxtel is the sport programs, so they don't want to sell themselves short of customers. That's how I see it anyway.

Just remember that most of NBN's viewers couldn't care less as they are not likely Newcastle fans seeing it comes all the way up to South East Queensland.

The Knights have a lot of fans up there in Toad land. There are some smart people up the el! ;-) ;-)

I haven't spotted any in Australia's 6th largest City. I haven't seen many in Tweed, Lismore, Grafton, Casino, Taree, Coffs Harbour etc etc either.

Newcastle really don't have many fans outside of Newcastle.

There's a lot who post on here, there's a Queensland Knights fan club with ( to use a Fattyism) Thooooousands of members, Well there's quite a few members. :p :p Even Kaz is a secret Knights fan, she just doesn't want it to become known. Sorry Kaz!!! :shock:

There are a few Newcastle freaks in QLD.

They are easy to spot, they have black teeth & call relatives MAAAA, PAAAA.

Did you ever think about the possibility they have more then one transmitter for the entire east coast? Do you think NBN show Newcastle weather in Brisbane... or maybe... just maybe, they have a different weather report recorded for Brisbane! I think, in short, the Brisbane office could put the manpower together needed to show a different programme! While the Newcastle Office sends the fussball to Sugar Loaf! It seriously isn't that f**king difficult!

I should work at NBN! Anyone here work there... any job offers? KOOEE? SPT? ANYBODY?

i'm a knights fan and i dont live in newcastle
i think i can also speak for fosie and the vern who also dont live in newcastle
