BTW I don't recall recieving an e-mail but i'm happy to go with whatever. Starters is a good idea, it's time consuming every off season but atleast we can have more even teams.

Nah he's not taken, nice pick mate, I was looking at him as a sleeper, should flourish in Saunders' system.

Yeah I definitely sent out an email to everyone, I think keepng your starters is about right, gives others and opportunity to improve their team in the offseason.

Hey guys, just to let everyone know that I sent emails out to everyone a couple of weeks ago regarding the number of keepers, I only got 5 responses but the consensus was the we get to keep our starters.

Therefore please note that you will be able to keep 9 players between each season, meaning you will need to release 10. The 10 round draft every season will not be serpentine but rather will be like the regular draft where the worst team picks first, then the 2nd worst, etc, and it is like that for every round.

doesnt this just defeat the purpose of a keeper league!
how are we supposed to pick up and coming rookies when we can only keep nine players?

It doesn't defeat the purpose, it makes owners make tough decisions and gives teams a chance to improve during the offseason, makes it so that owners cant keep a plethora of young talent for seasons, most keeper leagues only keep 5 players

But the idea of having a keeper league is so you can keep the young talent. why pick a younger WR when you can get much more points out of Torry Holt for one season?

9 is acceptable but 14 is probably too much in my opinion and does not allow for some talent to be put back into the pool.

Now that it is fixed at 9 it is easy who I am going to keep, at 5 I would have had to make some tough choices. Basically I keep most important players, i.e. 1 QB, 3 RB, 4 WR and 1 TE.
