Is there anyway that it could be set up to take you to the first unread (by you) post in any thread you click on?

My understanding is that it's the norm when you click on an unread thread? If not, there should be a "go to first unread" button beside the page count at the top and bottom of each thread?

Probably been asked but is a "lite' version for mobile, or tapatalk or something available? Clunky on the phone, good on pc.

Both mobile and PC versions of the forum are top notch now. I started typing a post on my phone while waiting to pick up my oldest from karate, forgot about it until i got home and went into the same thread on my laptop only to see my half-typed post from my phone.....impressive little feature.

Really like that images look they're being autofit to the thread box.

Is there a equivalent to the old Alt+S quick reply function?

Seems more or less the same but with a flashier trim.

One big criticism though is that you see less threads on the screen.

When you finish typing a post on desktop, you should be able to hit tab and space. That process would take your cursor to the Post Reply box and the space bar would act as the sending mechanism.

(I'm assuming that's what you mean?)

Also if you have an emoji keyboard on your phone or desktop, go nuts! :ok_hand::muscle::rugby_football::tools::rage::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

The competing criticism we had from some on the old forum is that the font size was often too small - so it's a catch 22 annoyingly

The site has improved on the phone over the last few days, it's looking great. On the iPhone if I view it in portrait it's like a light version, which is great, but if I turn the iPhone to the side and view it on landscape it shows banners, signatures etc and is a little more clunkier, can landscape be changed to look like portrait?

I am a fan of the update.

In terms of UI design I'd suggest the post metadata (date of the post, post # for the thread) to be located at the top of the message rather than the base - it can be annoying having to scan down bellow a posters (sometimes large) signature to see this information.

From a usability point of view I really like that threads remain unread between session until that thread is actually opened.

One issue I have is that I was unable to see the "Rumoured Signings" thread on the main forum - after some trial and error I discovered that this was because I Bleed Maroon was both the first poster in this thread, and is on my ignore list. While I don't necessarily want to see threads authored by users on my ignore list, I would still like to view pinned threads like this - moving forward perhaps have a moderator / site account make the first post in such threads?
