Whether it's $150k or $250k we don't need so many suits on that kind of money. It's overkill. None of these fekkers will be on the field to win us a game.

Frenzy - 2 things.

1. Winning starts off the field
2. $100k is sfa - a good chief will brief that much extra sponsorship or cut that cost in no time. If he is that good, pay him twice that if he will generate it back into the coffers. Do you no rate Mr Osbourne - I do?

He is talking about Irvine. Frenzy hates Irvine. He is loathe to say that he is doing anything good at the moment.

Never actually. I'm on record here as already saying that even if we win the fekkin comp I won't give that kent any credit.

Spare me the Gibsonisms as well. Winning can start wherever you want to say it does but winning happens on the field.

Sounds like some of you are suddenly prepared to wait for yet another rebuilding period. A bigger longer rebuilding period which includes flooding the joint with largely unproven talking heads.

Well 42 years and won feck all doesn't sit well with me. The fans are owed a premiership and waiting years till the front office is right in lieu of buying players sux. Big time.

I feel your pain Frenzy. And whatever you problem is with Irvine is your business, although I must admit I am very impressed with what he has done so far.

One criticism Ive always had is that the club continually rebuilds before the house is finished. And yes, here we are again rebuilding, literally from the ground up it seems.

I dont think we have a choice however. So much damage and mismanagement has happened over the last 8 years causing us to hit rock bottom. Its really a case of rebuild or die. Unfair on us the fans, but what choice do we have.

my stance is this.

if we win the comp. good. if we survive and stay in it. good.then these guys have done the job they were put in to do.

if we continue to be woeful on and off the field then bad.

just win baby

Went to Club Mingara for lunch with the better half today. It's a motza. I believe our new CEO had a big hand in building this club up. If that's the case, and if he can do similar for us, I believe we have a very healthy future.

"if" being the operative word with all these blokes

Can understand your pain to mate but in this case i think IF is all we have and i am very impressed with what the new board has/is trying to achieve.

Played a couple of gigs up at Mingara over the last few years, and it is indeed a great club.

Never once have I seen it anything other than busy. Seems to have it all. Lots of facilities (Pool, playing fields), places to eat and good entertainment, which is something our club has lacked over the years.

Based on that, I'm happy to give him a go.

Pretty sure Osborne captained country.
Back in the days when NRL players werent selected for country.
If he didnt sure he captain coached a side or 2 in the old group 12 central coast comp.He has some sort of footy background anyway.
