New Haven Warrior first home game

New Haven Warriors have their first home game(Boulevard Fields, New Haven crnr of Derby Ave and Ella Grasso Boulevard) against the CT Wildcats this weekend. A good day is planned. They have a refs clinic being held in the morning, followed by a youth game and then the Warriors v Wildcats. The Warriors will announce their starting 13 on Thursday. NZ import Ihaka Waerea is not availble till next week (as he does not fly in till next friday).

Program for the day:
Ref clinic: 0930-1230
Youth Curtain raiser: 1230 - 1300
Warriors V Wildcats: 1340

we have had a awesome response this week for juniors. two high schools are coming to a coaching clinic on thurs to learn about the game, we are also letting some of the 18-19 year olds play who have never played before. lots of these kids have played american football. theres also the odd rugby player as well.
