Agreed. What with it being the "tight fitting" muscle-shirt soccer look, sounds depressingly like it will be quite, well............ gay. Didnt think I'd ever live to see the time that League makes AFL look macho. Was hoping that WT would at least get into the centenary year with something remotely traditional, at least for one season. It would appear that the retro strips will be trotted out for a couple of weeks, as per usual.

There are a couple of ok plans in that lot. The Roosters main is at least a traditional type idea, and has a real jersey look to it. Some of the others have a good foundation in concept (example- Sharks main), but either have the soccer shirt pattern, or ruin the trad design with some sort of fancy flourish.

Apparently the new jersey next season has a new sponsor
The 3 year deal was either a 2+1 deal or a 3rd year contingent on certain things being achieved.
Dare say Proton won't be on the jersey next year ...

Now wouldn't that be 2 brands you would be proud to have on your 2008 Jersey again. Yeah call me a brand snob. Two strong traditional brands/companies supporting a club from two strong traditional backgrounds.

Noyce and the marketing crew should have given Phillips and Victa discounted sponsorship rates.......as the club would have make a small fortune on 2008 foundation Jersey sales....please,only my simpleton view
