New Moderator - Original_Chook

You may have noticed that Original_Chook is now a moderator.

This is now pretty well the most used section of the site, so another moderator is more than warranted.

I think we could be sure that one of the four moderators will look in at some stage every day, if not all four of us most days, so I don't think too many things will be left uncorrected for long periods, which should make for smooth sailing I'd say.

All four moderators are widely known and, I hope, approachable by all, so feel free to pm us if you have a problem, or if you see something that needs fixing.

Congrats to Chook, who was just about unanimously picked by moderators and administrators (those in on the decision anyway) for the job.

:roll: Well this is more than slightly embarrassing - even my spelling has gone out the window. 8)

One wonders whether it is appropriate to make a speech of some sort.....perhaps not.
One thing I will do is reinforce the point about approachability of moderators - messages anytime is fine (just as they were and always will be on the original forum and here).

Hopefully I won't have to do too much - most people here are just looking to discuss the footy and anything else that springs to mind - makes my minor role here easy for all.
