New Punter to site. Lets make money!!

Hi All,

I am new to this site actually I just created my account 5 minutes ago. I am a gambling enthusiast to say the least and i will by posting my bets each week in this forum and will be tracking my stats.

I will start the season with a bankroll of $1000 and am hoping to finish around the $8000 mark if all goes well. My bets will be displayed in units rather than $. 1 unit = $10. I take many things into consideration before placing my bets - motivation,injuries,stats,rivalry,trends to name a few. I take this seriously.

Round 1 - I still have 2010 stuck in my mind so the first few rounds i will be betting max of 10 units per game until we see whose in form. I am a massive tigers fan so i warn you now my opinion in their games may be biased

I wish all the other punters out there the best for the season. I will be posting my bets for round1 on thursday night or Friday morning. I will also be posting on twitter my account is @vaney88

For any NBA fans i encourage you to get on the Lakers -4 tomorrow the line is hot at the moment so get on before it blows out.

Sorry men im not "the hog"?

For those that are interested here are my NBA picks for tomorrow

Lakers -Line. I got them -4, line has now gone out to -5.5 which is still a good bet i anticipate it will blow out to -6.5 maybe even more.

Indiana/Philly over 202.5 - easy money

Miami - 8.5 - Miami had a tough week last week they have had 2 days off there back at home facing Portland who grinded out a late win yesterday against magic, i think Miami will make a statement of this game.

I will be offline tomorrow but will be back to post NRL bets thursday until than..Happy Punting.

Im a somewhat serious NRL punter too, didn't even realise this site had a punters forum.

Betting on the first round or so is always a bit of a lottery, form and momentum are two of the biggest facrotors in a comp as close as the NRL and obviously you don't know much about that until a couple of weeks in.

Having said that I'll have a few smallish bets just cause I'm excited about the season.

I thought the cowboys were/are pretty good value on Friday night, ealier in the week they were nearly $3 but theyv'e come in to around 2.60/2.70 now probably on the news Hodges & Hannant aren't playing. I don't think the Cowboys will do much this season but they do always aim up when playing the Broncos

That Tigers team looks very strong, theyre reasonable value at $1.70 against a team like the dogs, who have a two new halves and might take a bit to gel. That should be a really good game.

Just had a look at a couple of sites in regards to top try scorer, I thought $26 for Jason Nightingale to be pretty decent

Not sure about the cowboys havent decided on first round picks yet. at first glance raiders,tigers,storm are looking good waiting for Centrebet's pick your own line market to open up before i post my final selections.

In regards to exotics.

Im liking UATE $11 or VATUVEI $9 for top tryscorer or DUGAN $34 for a roughie.

I will have a wager on Tigers for premiers at $8. I am a massive fan but i genuinely believe we have a real shot at taking it out if everyone remains fit.

I think the make top 4 market has no value but if i was to have a bet it would be either Gold Coast or Canberra both at $4

Hope some of you got on my NBA picks today! tomorrows plays will be on twitter before 11am

For someone who bets NBA steam I would have thought you could bother to look at the market before throwing up tips.

I can see you got your odds directly from centrebet. You do know they are offering a 227% market for top try scorer which is essentially stealing from the uneducated punters. If you have to choose only one bookmaker please don't make it centrebet. Make it Pinnacle... whilst the bet options are limited at least you will get low juice markets.

Basically you don't know what you are doing or you are a centrebet shrill. Maybe you are an NRL handicapping genius but you don't know the fundamentals of sports betting. If you are the Hog reincarnated I can see you still haven't learned anything.

If anyone has some idea what they are doing I'm always looking to make new acquaintances and discuss wagering strategies and form analysis. PM me if you are interested and not geniused.

Yes i did get my odds from centrebet hence why i said i was waiting for centrebets markets. Thanks for suggesting Pinnacle but i would rather not bet with a company located on an island no bigger than my toe in the middle of the Carribean.

A handicapping genius that does not know the fundamentals of sports betting? come on mate that statement is so dumb im not even going to bother defent myself

Anyway im not hear to engage in internet banter with a super punter just hear to post my tips and hear other peoples opinions without the hate. Fade or follow your choice.

That is my point. You did not look at THE market you only looked at Centrebet's market. A market set a 227%. Do you acknowledge how bad that is?

Pinnacle have never cheated anybody unlike Centerbet. They are also a pro book whilst Centrebet is a rec book. Try winning at both books and see which you last the longest at. I could get you put on delay at Centerbet in a day.

Knowledge of the NRL is not intrinsic to those who understand sports betting. We obviously have a different understand of the fundamentals.

I'm definitely not a super punter. I just want to learn more and improve my methods. If someone hates on you and in the process you learn something that makes you more $ it is a small price to pay. However most successful punters won't even give out basic advice because it costs them $.

BTW You come across as a forum member named The Hog. That is the primary reason I was giving you sh*t. I used to enjoy stirring him up. It's not malicious and all in good fun.

The Hog used to take all his 'hate' with a grain of salt and reply just like Vaney - I reckon they're one and the same.
