*trojan* said:Oh come on!! Is this a forum for Rugby League or society? 90% of MEN aren't representing a club and a game and a business venture when they're out on the p*ss. If 90% of men go out and get laid on a weekly basis, it doens't make national news and there are no threats of fines for bringing anything into disrepute.
If they go out and get laid the way the allegations have stated they got laid. Then it certainly does make the news.
As for the 90% of men aren't representing a club or game when they go out on the piss. You are right, but the 10% that do represent there club are the ones that have a public profile. Ones that people recognise and can associate with a club and game.
A few weeks back I was at the Kings gamel behind 3 Roosters first graders and a Tigers first grader. There behaviour was exemplerary. They signed autographs when asked, posed for photographs all the while having a few quiet beers. people associated those players with the NRL and there respective clubs and the responded accordingly.
Players are representing there clubs all the time when out in public whether they like it or not. It is part and parcel of being a first grade player.
