That's the ticket.
Those Broncos young guns can change the course of a game in a flash. Our young guns don't appear to have that in them just yet. I'd say Walsh and Mam have it over Sloan and Sullivan and on Saturday 18th we will see them battle it out at Suncorp Stadium - a tough task I feel. While watching the Broncos / Cowboys game tonight, I am wondering can Sloan and Sullivan do a Walsh / Mam performance.
You’re missing a very big difference in circumstances. Can you guess what it is? Walsh was full of mistakes last year. Very much rocks and diamonds. Was good for as many brain farts in a game as he was for the brilliant things he did. The coach stuck with him the entire way through the season knowing how much upside there was in him. Now he’s got a full season of NRL experience under his belt. Imagine if we had a coach that had done the same with Sloan and Sullivan…….Those Broncos young guns can change the course of a game in a flash. Acknowledge what you say since77. Wasn't Walsh at the Warriors in 2022 and Nathan Brown was head coach until he decided to give coaching away in July 2022 and the job filled by Stacey jones for the rest of 2022? Walsh did have an up and down year like several others from the Warriors being away from home and such. Walsh had several off field problems as well. Walsh came back to the Broncs this year. You’re missing a very big difference in circumstances. Can you guess what it is? Walsh was full of mistakes last year. Very much rocks and diamonds. what we have to do is bring brown back home, he can spot young talent.Acknowledge what you say since77. So I guess that under Brown and Jones, he was given chances and was rocks and diamonds as you say. This year is a new year under Walters who will give him back the job of just running his own game and in this early stage is showing his abilities, with Star billing status looming.
He has not had a full season under Walters but indications are that he will kill it for the Broncos.
Sloan and Sullivan have not had the best of coaching unfortunately, but I feel sure if they are kept in the side all year, even though they might have a rocks and diamonds year, they will blossom when the "new coach" comes onto the scene.

absolutely nothing to lose this year can only help all threeIt has been stated on here a million times previously, but it's a yes from me to Sloan, Junior (if available) and Bud for a full year for me. I'd be happy for rocks and diamonds team performances and even end in the bottom half by years end but FMD, just imagine how good It'd be if they play as we know they can and the rest play off that? The alternative is more of the same three years and by the games played so far, we're a long way from that.
I suppose we can consider ourselves lucky that Sloan Sullivan and possibly Amone are on the same playing fieldabsolutely nothing to lose this year can only help all three
We can consider ourselves lucky when they prove themselves at NRL levelI suppose we can consider ourselves lucky that Sloan Sullivan and possibly Amone are on the same playing field
We need a guy like Nelson but why would the Storm let him go? Unless of course we offer him the world.Big Nelson just bullied his way to the try line. Simple pass from dummy half and he scattered blokes. That's why he would be a great recruit. Now he's had an awesome charge from kick off resulting in bulldogs tacklers giving away a penalty. We don't have anyone that can play like him.

True but some of his lazy defensive efforts were a concern. According to Bellamy he was not aloneBig Nelson just bullied his way to the try line. Simple pass from dummy half and he scattered blokes. Didn't we do that with Junior last year? Feagai and Ramsay are our equivalent of Walsh. He actually played 2 years with the Warriors. So we've done the same thing with some of our juniors. Sloan just wasn't cutting it and Bud was injured on and off. Just not sure what more we could have done without having a whole team of inexperienced players. You can't have them all in at once. It's amazing what a full season under a juniors belt can do hence why Walsh/Mam are killing it. That should have been Sloan and Bud last year. Wasted years under Hook. Lucky they backflipped and hung around. Ilias is another to benefit a full year as well.
You are dropping truth bombs today mate. Appreciate someone not so negative!!Didn't we do that with Junior last year? Feagai and Ramsay are our equivalent of Walsh. Agree but for them to do that they need time on the field consistently, win or lose they need to remain there. We can consider ourselves lucky when they prove themselves at NRL level
We have been down this path many times before and in the end many a fancied junior didn’t quite have it.
