I know most of us are disappointed because we are all expecting a Leniu or Klemmer but if you treat the Musgrove signing as a swap with Burgess it’s actually a slight upgrade. Hoping these bottom of the barrel signings are to compensate for a bigger signing the club has in the works. Just trying to look for the positives.

Rejects from the Wooden Spooners equals 23 game certainties in our NRL team along with Woodsy & Mbye.
We are the new recycled waste centre for the West Tigers!
C'mon mate . . . show our rejects a bit more respect than that !!
But seriously, I think Wiz's thread holds a fair amount of truth.
The only constant is that both our teams are shit.
Enjoy your off season, tight lines.

This is exactly right, just a straight in (like for like ;)) replacement for Burgess. Other signings to come, and there hasn't been any confirmation of the Lui-Toso signing as yet.

Me thinks some are still playing in the RLWC.

Burgess offered absolutely nothing in 2022.

Musgrave strengthens the KOE side. Fringe NRL player. No harm done with this signing.
I agree that Burgess offered little last season due to a lack of football and recovering from a major operation which made him very tentative. I was hoping he would be Ok but alas, not so.

Musgrove will be in the top 17 as will Liddle. Both will be in their rightful positions. Hunt to be the half and will not be used as the hooker at all as we have Macca, Mbye, Sullivan (who I think will stay) as back ups. Why put Hunt in at 9 when we have all of those as he is the specialist half? Sullivan can be used in the half position if Hunt is injured etc.

We still need a couple more forwards (prop and second row).

Musgrove to be announced later today..
Burgeii out the door

So Musgrove is a swap for Georgie Boy so we are still at least 3 players short of a top 30 plus additional development players.

I’m not sure what Treigh Stewart’s current status is but I’d like to see him brought up, he could potentially be better than both Ramsey & Sloan.
