The Musgrave signing better be a swap for Burgess and not Sims.
Dragons mgt are taking the piss. I think they have contempt for the fans I really do.
This time I am cancelling my membership if they haven't already taken the money. It's becoming too depressing.
Did the Gordan family buy us just to f**k us up as some sort of black humor? Thats what it feels like. Long pockets and short arms that family.

Excuse the language as I do not normally swear much at all. Many years of making the oh we are hiring rejects and retirees' jokes and trying to laugh it off has worn thin. It's just not even funny anymore. Hopefully the players find some resolve and fire in their hearts because the saints need a miracle right now.

Happy to be proven wrong - will watch the recruitment space with mild interest over the off season and see if this occurs.

*Guilty* I have brainwashed my kids to support the dragons. The oldest has stopped supporting nrl all together and the youngest is making noise that he will support the cowboys or panthers. He even tried to get me to buy a Manly banner for dad for Father's Day. I said it was not allowed in the house. I am not sure how long I can keep them interested. We need our mojo back fast.

I'm sure that it is a "swap" Musgrove for Burgess (prop for prop).

We are currently the worst run club in my opinion and the Gordons and those board members that hang onto the Gordons hands and suck their thumbs are a bunch of no hopers. The Gordons just are not the real deal and them buying into the club under suspicious circumstances was the worst thing that could have happened to us. God help us!

I know right :( Why did they buy us what was their motivation? when we had a much higher offer on the table? I feel like this has broken so many hearts. what is the answer out of this mess?

We are losing the young league followers as we are a joke of a club. Why support losers?

I haven't brain washed my boys. As kids they followed the Johns brothers at the Knights then lost interest and now one is "supporting" me by having an "interest" in the Dragons.

Kids like to follow winners, like I did when I was a kid and that winning team was the Dragons in the 50's and 60"s. Now its the Panthers, Roosters, Eels, Bunnies, Sharkies.

We (the Dragons) certainly need to change our ways quick smart. But if we are just a tax deduction for the Gordons, then our future is bleak.

Your right you know. I will let the youngen support who he wants to support from now on. I just asked him god bless him he still likes the Dragons but he also said "and the Cowboys" .
From the mouth of a babe, He likes "Suli, Ravawala, Ben Hunt, Zac Lomax , Blake Lawrie and that Reuben guy that sometimes plays for us". Is Reuben gone now though? The young lad liked him.

I tend to disagree sharks and eels aren't winners.
Made finals,that's more than us but that's not hard but only sharks in 16 have one a comp.
Wouldnt support them even if they were the only 2 teams in the comp.

Reuben is off contract and not likely to be renewed.

Illawarra owed WIN Corp and Gordons millions and so, the sale of their shares was the only way the Gordons were going to get any satisfaction. The deal avoided a bankruptcy situation for Illawarra and cost SGI about 5m as it was that much short of the top bidder.

However, you can be sure that some at St George also benefited. Young was later given the Chairmanship and Peter Doust was made a member of the Board.
