The gal is certainly a bit of a dish now !Our club is about as attractive as Rebel Wilson before she got skinny.

Coffs ,,,Got more players at the BBQ compared to the presentation nightPaul Vaughan throws & hosts a decent BBQ I believe!
The main problem at the Dragons is at the Board level. For far too long, Board members have been doing backroom deals concerned with their own personal interests rather then the interest of the club.Matt Dufty is noted in thread as great for missing intercepts and tackling no one. OK fair enough. Dufty was never a superstar and yes he made mistakes that’s given.
He did play his NRL career mainly in a struggling team(s), ( bar our 2018 team ). Superstar contemporaries like Tedesco and Papenhuzen played in rich and powerful roster clubs with world class forwards going forward and surrounded by talent that took the pressure off to some extent.
Dufty is recorded as scoring 44 trys from 82 games for us from fullback. An enviable record.
Scored imo the best individual try in the past decade against Roosters 2019 Anzac game. Busted through the class rooster forward pack 65 metres out, turned Tedesco and Cronk inside out in a withering run before straighting and holding Latrell Mitchell at bay to score.
Dufty scored many other try’s on sheer individual brilliance beating a number of opposition players or running length of field. Recorded at tremendous high end speed during games.
Yes he tried on some flashy intercepts during breaks by the attacking opposition instead of going through the motions of grabbing the ball carrier after he had passed for a foregone try anyway. BTW he pulled off two intercepts in this fashion from my memory. One returned and scored length of field try against Tigs and another saved the try but caught before a chase started.
Dufty had almost unique attacking talents, sublime harbour bridge passes right. Just wish he was better at the high balls and tackling. At least he could get you off your seat. Oh 6 try’s in 5 games for Warrington in the less intense English league.
Not to derail the thread, but imo Duffs attitude negated any positives he brought to the team. Good little player, rarely commited to the tackleMatt Dufty is noted in thread as great for missing intercepts and tackling no one. OK fair enough. Dragon and drag off these days - or just a drag in general.only12 years, your going to be a mess after you have clocked up 65+years like a few off us on the forum, but as they say once a dragon always a dragon
I always thought he would go well as a 5/8. Would have been an improvement on Corey Norman at least. Not to derail the thread, but imo Duffs attitude negated any positives he brought to the team. Good little player, rarely commited to the tackle

Isn’t there another slight issue pending with TC?? He won’t be playing for a while eitherTempted to start a new thread- something along the lines of "How desperate are we" or "How far back do Hook's Brisbane connections go?'- but then decided it wasn't worth the effort.
In a previous post, I observed that when recruiting at this time of year, you could always rely on the Broncos for a scandal and a cast off... hey presto.. didn't have to wait long. TC Robati, a young promising backrower, with a form sheet that would fit in nicely with the Dragons "culture" is likely to be sacked by the Broncos- surely we're not that desperate??... or are we??
That's what I meant when I observed his form sheet fitted in with the Dragons "culture" (see George Burgess and De Belin).Isn’t there another slight issue pending with TC?? He won’t be playing for a while either
Agreed. She went from being a packet of 2 minute noodles to a filet Mignon with mushroom sauce and truffled mash potatoesThe gal is certainly a bit of a dish now !
Oh I've been a supporter since the early 70's but I was somewhat happy then, these last 12 years have been terrible !!!only12 years, your going to be a mess after you have clocked up 65+years like a few off us on the forum, but as they say once a dragon always a dragon

St George Illawarra have pulled out of discussions with former Melbourne and Brisbane halfback Brodie Croft about the prospect of joining the Dragons as a replacement for the suspended Junior Amone.
St George Illawarra are seeking salary cap dispensation from the NRL to bring a playmaker to the club after head office triggered the automatic no-fault stand down policy against the 20-year-old as he fights assault charges.
