Injuries have held him back.
Attack wise will be a big improvement on McCullough.

Liddle will tighten the middle defences a lot better than Bud has this year. The problem for me with this signing is where does Bud fit in now , as Liddle would be expected to play 80mins surely ?

If he is signed , this exactly where does Bud fit in ..... Bud for mine would be in the team somewhere , either coming off the bench or starting at 9 ..... Either way we are not winning anything next year , so if they were to be as you say with Bud at 9 a little loose around the middle well be it , than to lose him ...... The whole team leaked points this year ......

Well, Burns has occasionally shown glimpses of solid attacking skills. Defence still needs work. He had a terrible run of injuries this year, so hopefully he has an injury free year, has a solid preseason, and progresses substantially next year.
