Liddle is honestly a real shit player...I rarely say that but he's hopeless!! really bad signing...especially when Ben Hunt should be the 9 next year and Sullivan at 7...wait another year and pick up Reece Robson again..we are useless in recruitment

Anything concrete here? Be good to get Robson back but we are producing some good hookers in our lower grades. I speak of Sam Hooper, Connor Muhleisen and Declan Purcell. Why import players when these 20/21 year olds are almost ready for Firsts

So, he is not good enough for the Warriors, and we should hurray and sign him. We lost Sims on 800k and might lose Su'A on 650k-700k and we replace one of these SOO players with this guy.

Yes, in my days when playing during my school years, teams were not graded by age but by weight.In my younger days I was a slim-line 10stone fullback - ah the memories ! Unfortunately I put on just a tad bit more weight since those years .
Dare say that jak has also , so I reckon that we could both play 2nd row , or at a pinch prop . Just as long as I can throw a good old fashioned haymaker or two whilst in the scrum .
If Hunt is retained and also not required to play hooker, then Robson should be our target.
Well how about we take the word of people that have watch all of the Tigers games the past 3 or 4 years ? three Wests Tigers supporter mates of mine all said he is quick, good defender & good service from DH. The reason he wasn't their prime no 9 is injuries. The club knew they were getting korosou and couldn't see the point in giving him NRL game time. Not a world beater but will do his job , if his body holds out . To that i'd say the club has some clause in his contract ( min number of games ? ) to protect us if he snapped in two.
Given the clubs intentions around retaining and developing players coming through the lower grades, I'd say Liddle won't be an 80 minute hooker but will share the role with players like Sullivan and Connor as they come through. If you go by the stats we shouldn't lose anything in defence while he's on and we gain some much needed speed/smarts in the position. He may not be a world beater, but I'd be surprised if he isn't a step up on what we currently have.
and if we can get the coach to develop a game plan to play to his strengths not just a battering ram like all our 2nd rowers are used like
Almost Ready?. On glimpses that I have seen I would of thought they were not up to "almost ready" level yet, more like "has potential"
and if Burns improves his front on defence, could be very effective!
