B. Kerr is definitely off contract and I believe Timm has a club option for another year.

Again we are being held by the short and curlys by the JDB situation and I really dont believe Kaufusi would sign on for "only" 10 games, which would include moving interstate, housing etc.

Anyway I suspect, given the circumstances, Kaufusi's name will he prominent in the up coming team lists. I really believe this was the carrot to him signing imo.

Never comfortable taking Storm rejects. They don't let many good ones go and the forwards they let go are the usually the lazy or injured ones like George Rose or Kasiano.

I suppose he can't be any worse than Rulon Nutira or Rory O'Brien as a depth signing.

Correct. Kaufusi would have signed on with the incentive of cracking a starting spot and then they can look at next year....he wouldn't be on big money...typical McGregor signing suggestion...

Kerr will be good as gone I.M.H.O. which would be a shame as he was never given a proper go ( Sounds familiar doesn't it )....another club will pick him up because they will see the potential and actually know how to develop him as a player..

He may not have the work ethic behind the scenes to get his fitness levels up. I have only been to 1 CC this year and he did not scream selection for 1st grade from that game. I like the way Timm charges at the line.
We may be wrong and they are happy for him to keep improving but if not they have had a good look at him and he has had plenty of time to make an impact.

Dont worry we have a few internationals already from reserve grade as do other clubs.
The word "international" and so called value $$$ for a player is overdone and lost its stigma as ther our so many choices for players based on a heritage, some a few generations ago. It is good fore the players and finacially to play in these one offs, but for me is all about growing the gamew in those countries oir just more a money grab.
Origin is the true pinnacle now, however 1/2 the players in the NRL are not illegible anymore.
We will never see the best 17 anymore in the NRL play for Australia or an origin game.
