I noticed Sorro mentioned his ability to play hooker in yesterday’s presser. Played for the Jets last year and played junior football there.

Can play edge, middle and hooker at a pinch. Not the worst idea he’s that forward utility.

Sorro is one of those late bloomers, one of the fittest blokes in the club too.

I’m with Frenzy here on Peats.

I think from the get go he and Holbrook just never clicked. Tits have some good young attacking 9’s coming through so I can see the coach’s point of view here especially taking into account the coin Peats is on up there.

Peats has just listed his Palm beach home, expecting another kid and both he and his mrs have family ties here in Sydney. At the right price I think he would be a handy addition in that utility role.

We signed a guy who had nrl experience into a back up role to play as the replacement starting booker in case of injury for $65k, and suggest a waste of money, but want to sign peats for 200-250k and happy to watch him play 2 games in the year??

I would wager that the waste of money has been Connor Tracey. Doesn’t have a position. King was going to be the reserve grade hooker. Brailey was designed as an 80 minute hooker.
