Exactly it's easy to offload a good winger who's on 500k and the other club might chip in 100k or so. Same with a rookie halfback who's on 300k.

yeah but the player also has to agree to this.. I can’t see any of those three landing a cushy media role at fox or anything after they finish playing so they need to make as much as they can now. The plus for us with so many of our ‘big names’ off contract after next year, surely they’re going to want to rip in to try and secure another pay day somewhere.

I very very briefly crossed paths with Sams ex Father-in law in my younger days. Attended same remedial Chemistry class, funnily enough!. Any way he would not remember me but he was pretty memorable and I followed his career(s) through time. When I heard Sam was in dispute with him I figured poor Sam could be in deep s**t.

Think it’s more the case that Creepin was able to keep everything in house up north because the Courier Fail kept the donkeys a protected species.
