New signs around Parra Leagues

G'day everyone! I hope everyone is winding down for Christmas. I took a little trip into Parramatta today to go to the Blue & Gold Army HQ. I noticed that there a heap of new signs on the outside of the club... and don't they look AWESOME!!!! The three on the outside were Hindy, Hayne & Fuifui Moimoi. There are a bunch of others on the front of the club. I could see another one of both Hindy & Hayne as well as what looked like Reddy. As i turned towards the HQ i noticed that there was even more along there. Bob O'Reilly, Steve Ella, a few more. Above the entrance at the front there is a big picture of Ray Price.

I think that they look great and really stand out. Well done to the club!

I saw them yesterday, and yes, they look brilliant. Pretty good way to smarten up a drab building

And I was reading in the Advertiser (sorry, no link) that the section of road from O'Connell street into the car park is to be re-named Eels Lane or place or something like that.

I saw them, it's a good idea in theory, but I think the club is much too focused on recapturing the glory years of the 80's... the only modern player I saw was Nathan Cayless.

Any chance of Fitzy's image being put up as well???

Come on board... prove to us that you have no agendas!

Yeah I as going to say them same. If it was all our history then yeah cool, but it seems to be the early 80's then Caylo in 2001 and nothing before after or in between.

Just seem it is a bit like the logo change, to be a bit jingoistic for the times when the club won premierships. I guess that will appease the masses until they win a premiership.

why? I think Jack Argents image should be up there before Fitzy's if you want to play that game.

This is the perfect example of what I said in the thread about membership, no matter what the club does people will still find a reason to nit pick and be critical. It's what we do best....

Don't you mean until we win a premiership? :sarcasm:

The best one is on the Shop and the Football club offices.

The Shop has a massive picture of the front cover of the 2011 Membership brochure - Hayne, Fui, Hindy, Mannah, Morts in the heritage jerseys.
At the front of the Football club entrance is large poster of Price and Cronin with the Winfield Cup 1986 Grand Final.

gramatically I don't see any need for you adding ellipsis on the end of your sentence

:D

I know Jack Gibson was talking about the Queensland crowd when he said the following, but it could very well apply to so many of the posters on here..
"They'd boo Santa, this mob".
