Parra stadium is only 25k. Sure you're having a good run and crowds are up but when things aren't so great how many are going to games? Id guess 12-15k. Amd even if remain a top 4 side how many times have you sold out in the last 5yrs? I imagine across 60 odd home games probably only 7-8 would of missed the opportunity for an extra few thousand.
Atmosphere wise 25k will be better for most games

Almost everybody is talking down the new stadium, I don’t get it.

We entertained guests on the weekend and again today and the viewpoint was the same.

I’m flabbergasted how you can make a reasonable assessment on what is currently a construction site.

The facilities will be far better. Getting in and out of the ground will be far better.
Getting food and drink will be far better.
Even if the stadium itself isnt that flash it is still going to be far superior to what you had.

Says the fan of a team that has had two brand new, built from the ground up stadiums provided to them since the 1980s.

I guess us Panthers fans should just shut our mouths and be satisified with the crumbs thrown to us.

How many grand finals have the Eels won?

The stadium has a single proposed tenant as far as I'm aware.

Comeback has two fulltime and regular guest tenants.

I'm not sure why the situation is being compared.

The business case needs to be FOI'd. I expect it is dire.

At the end of the day, governments don’t have unlimited funds. The Minns government could have canned the project altogether. I think the fans should be patient and see what the finished stadium provides before writing it off prematurely.

There’s a video on YouTube about the new stadium posted by Ultimate Mega Builds, very informative and well worth watching.
