They should have got a brand new stadium. Penriths a growing city.

Hopefully the design will allow for future expansion of the northern and southern ends. I’m sure it will.

It does per the community consultation. A design with the Southern End done would bring the capacity to around 28k. The Northern End wouldn’t really add much to the capacity though.

For me, a substantial increase on the current site would require some work on the surrounds and probably a lowering of the field.

The latest update from the nsw government confirms that there is no public seating in the Western grandstand only in the concourse, despite all the promises made to members. So after forty years in the western grandstand I no longer will have a seat there. This is an absolute disgrace and disrespect to members.

It is such a shame that a once in a lifetime opportunity for Penrith, the area, the community and members/fans is probably going to end up pretty underwhelming.
As pointed out by others on here previously. The Minns government didn't really see the stadium as a priority but made the commitment to keep a portion of the public satisfied.
Maybe the final result will surprise us but it's not looking that way at the moment.
