It’s a massive upgrade, will be infinitely better than what we had.

I agree ideally, would have been great to have both ends developed as well, all seater stadium 30,000 capacity.

It will be "Fine" for Panthers. Won't really have any use for music festivals or general community stuff. Im not a local so that doesn’t effect me the same but it was very short sighted.

Better options for promoters exist within 40km accessible by more of the Sydney population.

Also next to a residential area. No way it's getting past noise pollution complaints.

The new airport is going to open lots of opportunities.

Anyways we'll be playing out of Parra fulltime if the sport still exists in 20-25 years

I'm sure the Minns government changed the legislation on noise pollution as it was affecting the night time economy $$$. Too many NIMBYs complaining.

I’ve looked at the plans, I’m excited I think it’s far better than some are putting out there. I agree not what it could, or should have been, but a massive upgrade on what we had.

I went to Leichhardt oval recently. Its bloody amazing atmosphere but it took me almost 20mins to get in and to my seat. Cost $60 to sit on a park bench. I ddint bother going for a piss or beer as the crowd is so squashed in. And they play loud music 90% of the game. I had to wear my ear plugs ( Damaged ears) Do all stadium constantly play music? Its was f**king annoying

Totally gone mate. Currently using boring machines to drive foundations for both new stands.

So this was always the plan? I assume they where keeping one of the stands and just renovating kind of thing.
Will it be as good as Parra Stadium?
