New teams?

Does any one know if new teams will be coming into the comp? and who they may be?

From all reports, new clubs/franchises are on hold for the immediate future.
I remember hearing they were looking at Perth, Central Coast, and a second NZ team.
All innuendo, but i cant see anything happening soon.

JUst on that, anyone remember the Rams.

I actually went to that... what a goose i was. lol

We had the game, and lost 22-20 i recall.

All speculation at present. Perth Sharks is a posibility. PNG, Central Coast. PNG would be a interesting choice.

Agreed, Tv will luv, WA for time zone friendly live/ delay telecasts. Need another Bris team. Sorry to disappoint Central Coast bears, but that won't happen..Forget any PNG team, that's a 3Rd world country ....the logistics of start up, travel, stadiums, would be huge.

Perth is a must...

Phase 2 should see. SA and another NZ team. With at least another serious look at relocating teams with serious sweetners to do so...NRL is going thru review of all Clubs admin and finances...I see a very different competition in 10 years time.

Nah como, central Qld (Rocky to Mackay) is rugby league heartland that needs to be serviced.
