ACA has been beating it in the ratings and it's incredibly cheap to make (because it's utter crap).

I can almost guarantee you they lost ratings with their decision today. They are a fuddy-duddy, behind the times organisation who has absolutely no idea the quickly changing face of tv.

Live sport is the only thing that will save TV in the future.

Yet Ch9 treat live sport as a pariah.

Advertised for 5.30 QLD, worrying considering the News is usually on at 6 and we all know how important their news is, the need for the lead in to it today was the sole reason for delaying the game.

I have a feeling that under the anti-syphoning laws they have to show the final live.

Yeah, I was extremely surprised Ch9 we're going to show the final live into QLD at 5:30pm, hence overlapping with the 6pm news bulletin slot. like you, I too have my doubt whether or not they will do that
