Thrilling end to a test match. A big shame bad light brought an end to it.

Had it gone for a couple more overs, that final wicket Pakistan partnership were odds on for chasing down the remaining 15 runs.

What. a. Match.

A lot to question about NZ’s tactics and decisions. A lot to admire about Pakistan’s cricket, particularly Sarfraz.

Pity that shakeel couldn't/didn't get a few more than 32 off the 146 balls he faced. On a sidenote just finished reading Wasim Akram's book, i recommend it.

NZ could possibly feel a little aggrieved, but having bowled and fielded so conservatively, we were authors of our own demise (or, in this case, our draw)

Didn’t think the test reached any great heights until NZ declaration late day 4. Could easily have batted another 20-30 min on day 5 and no one bats an eye lid to be fair .
From the declaration all of a sudden all 3 results were in play on day 5. And all 3 potential results changed throughout the day. Made terrific viewing right until the unfortunate end where we got the least favoured result

Conway, Williamson and the spinners dominated that one, strange game.

And we win the series - good performance, both teams wobbled after good starts, terrific innings from Glenn Phillips to win it
