I want the Jets to win but it will be a draw.

JD - I'm pretty sure the team was announced on NBN a few nights ago

Yeah, it probably was, but I haven't been on here much in the last few days ;-)

Hard to guess how our performance will be with so many new faces. I'm hoping for a draw or, failing that, a narrow loss. Given our season and the amount of new faces, it might be a tough ask to expect much more.

Are you going to the Ulsan v Jets game Mis?

I'd like to - but Ulsan's three hours from where I live and the game starts an hour after I finish work. Not liking my chances :(

Korea doesn't really 'do' sickies. I've had co-workers vomiting in between classes and they still tough out the day.

Dog Eaters up 1-0 at HT

It's Koreans that eat dog. If you're going to play the ignorant racist, at least be a well-informed ignorant racist...

Didn't see the first goal, but the second one was a collosal f**k up with seconds to go. It didn't deserve to finish 2-0.

My bad

Both were colossal f**k ups.

Nikolai Topor Stanley must never play for the Jets again, Ljubo desperately needs match fitness and Dapuzzo is useless

Apart from that I'm happy with the performance

Decent looking crowd too, looked about 25-30k

The beijing number 7 (wang chin) looked alright

Do they ever stop diving?

I admit, I didn't pay close attention to the game despite finding a good quality stream. I did see the second goal and couldn't believe it. Who was it that coughed up the ball?

Patafta wasted again. Why employ him to come on for seven minutes a week?

Patafta would excel in this asian league IMO.

Topor-Stanley was shocking, I always liked him but how bad is his passing and vision!

D'Appuzo has been sh*t all year IMO.

Out of the new guys I thought the Italian went solid, Couldn't make much of De Groot, he never got any quality ball.

I thought Sasho was our best on the park. Sure you can blame him for 2 misses but he was still the best and created the most for us along with Vignaroli.

Costanzo should be playing in our next game, I rate him highly.

All in all I thought we looked ok except for the defense and a bit of a weak mid field to set things up for the strikers.

We only ever looked like a chance from set pieces.

Must admit after 15 minutes I thought to myself that this is going to be a torturous six games, but slowly but surely we worked our way into the game and really, should have gotten a point.

Our defence looked more solid than it did in the A-league last year (granted, not hard to do) and Topor-Stanley had a game he'd like to forget, but will be better for the run. Vignarolli and Petrovski were our best IMO and De Groot looked ok from the few touches he had. All in all, the whole team will be better for it and return to EAS next Tuesday to play Ulsan who were spanked 3-1 by Nagoya.

He provided Sasho with a really good opportunity to equalise late in the match, but Petrovski missed.
