I remember on the Micallef program he had a segment playing an old man who was forced to live with his son and his family and had a love of stamps. When he moved in all he had was a magnify glass and his stamp book, his one and only passion. when he was reading it oneday the magnify glass interacted with the sun and set his stamp book in flames, absolute crack up!!!

I love how when he gets confused he gives a little glanceat the camera similar to Leslie Nelson, funniest sh*t ever.

Shaun Micallef is a comedy god. I haven't seen Newstopia yet, and I haven't god the dvd's of Micallef Programme (but I will get them very, very soon), but I do have the Incompleat Shaun Micallef, which has got a lot of his stuff from Full Frontal, including a sh*t load of Milo Kerrigan and David McGahan

I've just been browsing YouTube, and came across this topical monologue of his from the Micallef Programme...even though it's what, about 6 years old now, it's funny that it's still relevant today

Don't worry, I have an ace up my hole. Ladies and gentlemen of the jewellery, might I remind you that we no longer live in the age of the steam engine and the straw hat, and if it is a crime for my client to kill a man in cold blood, then my client is guilty. But if it is not a crime, then he isn't. The end. (Whispers to client) It's looking good.

Have to agree. I bought the Micallef P(r)ogram(me) box set on the weekend. I've only watched a couple of discs so far but I'm pretty sure it has the best laughs-per-hour (lph) ratio of any dvd in my collection. I don't mean giggles either - thats an entirely different measurement (gph) - I mean loud, hearty guffaws.

Series 2 is where it's at. Haven't got series 1, so can't remember much since it's been like 10 years +, but series 2, from start to finish, is a crack up.
