Newtown Jets 2024

This Ison kid we got from the Riff definitely has something. Only seen Cup highlights but he definitely looks really confident.

I think Dykes is quicker and more skilful but availability is your best ability as they say. Dykes is not showing a lot of that at this stage.

Definitely a kid to follow.

There are some players really standing up and ready for first grade with another batch ready for 2025.
What helps in these teams as well is Hiroti, Burns and Magoulis

All with plenty of first grade they would help in handing down experience

Jets’ six-game winning streak comes to an end against North Sydney 16-12.

Frustrating effort with little discipline or attention to detail from Newtown. Last tackle options were generally poor.

Tapuha and Colquhoun were solid. Ataata looked promising in a short stint, big body who can find his front.

Tough afternoon but sums up the week. Decent fight back but never really threatened like the previous run.
Miserable conditions don’t assist, about as much atmosphere as Shark Park.

This is what really gets to me the first grade put in a shocker.
So as a reserve grader I would be thinking I am going to have a blinder make Fitz pick me for next game.
If he dosent see me in his plans look for mid season release

Seems we are always talking about Uele’s fitness/injuries.

I’m hoping this last contract we just signed him for will be fruitful for us. But at the moment it looks like it will benefit him more than us.

It's only for another 2 years.
I can see him being given the same tap Royce has just been given about this time next year.
