Jets hang on to win 18-8 over the table-topping North Sydney Bears. Great effort in defence - Bears had a mountain of possession at their end but the Jets kept scrambling.

Puru had a great game - he has been a lot better the last couple of weeks. Pickering had some classy touches and did well to score a try. Ison had a mixed game but made some crucial tackles. Hau Tapuha had some strong runs but came up with an arm grab in the Bears only try.
