Roosters or Featherdusters; Knights slay Roosters
The Knights charged back into title contention on the strength of their huge forward pack last night.
Kennedy was inspirational, but the charge was taken up by all the Knights forwards, who played as if they had nothing to lose. Parsons and Perry bashed aside a brittle looking Roosters pack, who will find it hard to regroup before another bruising encounter next week in this finals series that suddenly looks wide open, with all four home teams looking like losing in their first game. Simpson, Abraham, Woolnough and Jobson also bashed hole after hole in the much vaunted Roosters defence.
The Knights backs also had a field day backing up their rampaging forwards.
Rooster Chris Walker had a very unfortunate game, coming up with a new club record 12 missed tackles, to beat even his season worst effort for Souths against the Knights earlier this year.
