Very interesting, basically get big or get out.
As I mentioned earlier those running the game would have been discussing these trends for years, and it`s probably why we are seeing this belated push to internationalize the game, to make us more relevant to the big sports broadcasting companies who are after global content.
Hope we are not going to pay a price for our tardiness on this front now.
What price now for not having a bit of foresight on having teams like Toronto in our competition and our neglect of growing the game.

to be fair the issues now were unpredicted. As for global our population hurts

Agreed. Like you, I’m sure, I’m heartily sick of waiting for any decision about anything in our game. Bloody frustrating.

It is annoying. Hopefully moving forward the NRL produces the games and just needs a network to show the games

The positive is ch10 has purchased their regional stations back. May finally have the national coverage that makes purchasing say Thurs night footy a good business choice

Big news if It go's ahead.. Notice CEO Telstra Vicky Whatever said it looks like they will sell also....right price ..asett can be sold...Monday is the deadline.
If DAZN do get Foxtel with all of DAZN`s sports content plus what Foxtel has it is going to make life very tough for their streaming competitors like Stan in OZ.
The timing could be perfect for NRL, a desperate Nine/ Stan and 10/Paramount up against a cashed-up DAZN.

Need Stan to finish their culture review to start bidding again

Of course it doesn’t.

As every article has stated

DAZN is buying Foxtel as a whole.

This includes News/TV and sport. So there is a lot to sort through that is before you add Fox still owning Sky in NZ and UK.

That has a huge say on the WatchNRL part of the business

I left you alone for a few days because you seem simple but that last post takes the cake.

Where in what you posted does DAZN state their intentions?
When the nrl gets a blockbuster deal reminding you and your afl mate how wrong you were is going to be hilarious

But but the advertising market
