There's 3 of us- Manly, Sharks and Roosters, does he hate all 3?
He wasn't specific lol

it's no different to friday night double headers the NRL got rid of in the new deal.
They got rid of the Friday night double header because the second one wasn't live.
He probably told you what you wanted to hear to shut you up .Grant flat out lied to us in WA, he has zero credibility. I went to a breakfast event with him when arlc took over the game. He told us no nrl expansion for a while but that Perth would get a guaranteed 3 games a year plus an international plus significant more funding for the warl. All of which was BS.
To be fair pr has mentioned this before. And grant made similar undertakings here which seem to have fallen by the wayside.Funny how you only mention this now for the first time. God you make up shit.
"We'd suggest that there should be, in the case of NRL, three games a week on free-to-air television, or free-to-air gets the first crack at the three games per week, which basically reflected what was the case up until the next deal, and a similar number on AFL."
ACCC queries Foxtel/Ten deals

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has expressed concern about the proposed acquisitions between Foxtel Management and Ten Network Holdings Ltd. and is seeking further information.
Foxtel proposes to acquire up to 15% of Ten, which plans to take a 24.99% stake in subscription channels ad sales rep MCN. Ten will also have an option to acquire 10% of Presto TV, the joint venture between Foxtel and Seven West Media.
"The ACCC is concerned that the proposed acquisitions have the potential to substantially lessen competition for the supply of free-to-air television services in Australia, particularly in the broadcasting of sports content, ACCC chairman Rod Sims said.
The proposed acquisitions may increase the likelihood of Ten and Foxtel entering into joint bids and other commercial arrangements for acquisition of sports rights, to the exclusion of other free-to-air networks. Such arrangements could enhance Tens ability to acquire the rights to sports, including premium sports, and could increase the likelihood of more sport being shown exclusively on Foxtel.
Given the importance of sporting content to a broadcasters ability to compete strongly with other free-to-air networks, the ACCC is concerned that the advantage Ten would gain in acquiring sporting content may lead to a substantial lessening of competition in the free-to-air television market, or in the broader market for the supply of television viewing services.
From October 1, Gyngell's contract requires that he give one year's notice should he wish to depart.
Nine has recently entered into an agreement with the National Rugby League (NRL) for the broadcast of four live games per week from 2018 to 2022 without entering into an agreement with Foxtel. No agreement has been reached for the broadcast of the remaining games but given the lack of alternative STV broadcasters currently offering sports content, it is likely that they will ultimately be broadcast on Foxtel, which may also simulcast the matches shown on Nine.
http://registers.accc.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/1187261/fromItemId/750991Since the NRL has not yet assigned all of the rights to its content, there may be the potential, subject to the contractual arrangements with Nine, for Foxtel and Ten to acquire some or all of these remaining rights.
