The Roosters would go after Dufty for the same reason they sign everyone else, because they can.

At this stage the Roosters just sign players so other people can't have them.

I must disagree with you BGB.

The Sydney Eastern Suburbs Roosters only sign players IF they can stay under the cap.
I'm fed up with people slinging mud at the good honest hardworking efforts of Nick Politis and fellow club patrons.
With a budget of 30,000,000 million per year, l'm no accountant but its not hard to work out they are safely still under the cap.

Good luck to them l say.

Footnote - Please apply the George Costanza theory to all of the above.

Roosters don’t worry me - they haven’t got the forwards to worry us - they play the left edge of Cordner/Mitchell 80% of the time. Sure they can beat us but if we are serious we beat them 8/10 times on any given day.
- I expect Aitken to try and show up Mitchell
- Frizell to do the business on Cordner
- Widdop and Hunt to do the job on Keary and Cronk
- Dufty v Tedesco
- JWH v Vaughan
- Mciness v Friend (no contest)
- I don’t know who’s going to stop Sims, JDB and LAM.

The only 2 teams that worry me are Storm and Souths!

If Nene/Frizz back then there is only one team that Baldy can pick

Dufty
Nene Lafai Aitken Pereira
Widdop Hunt
Vauhan McInnes Graham
Frizell Sims
deBelin

AhMau, Latimore, Leilua, Mann

Would consider Lawrie over Latimore though … and that is it.
No Nightie?

Given the flogging the Chokks are giving Manly today, you may have to revise your assessment.

Your right, I've completely misjudged them, the top investigators at the salary cap department have given them the all clear, so what more can you do
