Hmmmmm...... I could choose to concentrate on the try there as a positive but that lead up attack was embarrassing to say the least. A defender slips over and instead of run at the hole, Widdop passes out to the wing?? I'm sounding like a Debbie Downer but I just wish we would finally be able to play at this time of year. Gareth and Paul can talk and talk and talk but neither know how to really dominate in the big time.

Can be much more dangerous than McInnes and provides some smarts in there.

McInnes plays much like McCullough and Peats, tackles a lot but not much else and completely useless when we’re chasing points.

This is a gee up the way they played that first half. No intensity at all considering such a big game. Why don't the speedy bloke like dufty follow through on our fwds(especially Vaughan who gets his arms free). Slater and Tedesco do it heaps. Handy try by Hunt late to keep them in it but only just and very lucky considering the way they are playing.

Friz always cuts back in. It is SO telegraphed, and doesn’t trouble a semi decent opposition. A good coach would address this.

We’ve got zero ability to build any pressure. It’s embarrassing that with our halves we do not value playing for repeat sets & go for the big play.

McInnes is a Peats and McCullough clone. Tackles himself to death and can run a little bit.as well.

But he’s got zero creativity from hooker which all the top teams have.

If Mary was smart, he’d slot Hunt in there late in each half , let Widdop take the lead and have Mann as the running 5/8.

Not ideal but better than McInnes running on fumes and giving us nothing out of hooker.

Been asking the same thing all year. There was one game earlier when Widdop and Dufty were backing up really well and we were all over the opposition (can't remember which game). Since then I have barely seen it. Whereas watching the opposition do it at will always puts your heart in your mouth. Today is the perfect example. Loss written all over this. In the pre-match, Hunt didn't seem to agree we have the best forwards in the comp. They play like the forwards and the backs, and not as a gelled unit.

Can't wait til at the 10 minute mark of second half we get to see Nightingale make 50 hit ups so as to put up the white flag.

Such an intense game but he still hasn't used 2 of his interchange. I am sure he goes to sleep and forgets they are there. Rest some of the forwards and put Lulia & Latimore on at the start of the second half.

My hope ? Roosters cant keep this intensity up and we score first in the second half and they start to doubt themselves.All depends on how much gas both sides have used in the first half.Playing catch up is very hard with the speed we dont have from 2 to 5 but its a funny game and to have any chance we have to win the first 10 - 15 minutes in the 2nd half.

Our right edge is absolutely shocking. Aitken is not a centr, can't pass, bad reads in defence and no idea on how to break the line. Nightingale is past it and Frizell has a problem with lateral movement in defence. We need to:
Drop Nightingale for anyone of our youngsters.
Aitken to the bench.
Man to right centre for now.
Frizell to prop.
Leilua to left edge.
Sims to right edge.

Our team is so poorly coached is stands out a mile. Sack the pretender and sign some who knows what he is doing.

I'm as angry as hell so they had better improve out of sight in the second half.
