Campbelltown will be an experience, don't you worry. It's deadset one of the worst grounds in the NRL :p

I think we can win this one also. Bedsy and Joey will be fresh, as will Simmo. Kidley, if he doesn't play, it won't be a travesty ;-) But hopefully Clint and Quinny back up. Will be a cracker, can't wait :D

The team will stay the same though. Hages doesn't like making changes.

Abraham looked fairly ordinary today. Hard to say if thats cos he isnt in form or because they smashed them and he switched off.
Abraham had around 60 mins game time, and was very tentative, didn't get very involved at all in the first half. That said he threw some nice passes, and showed some class touches in the second half. I think it's a confidence thing with him, and that'll take some time,It was only his third game back. He'll be back in first grade this year though. Seage from all reports just had a really bad cramp, I reckon he'll play (Seage That is) I still want another forward on the bench, which means either, Mullen, or Brown drops out.

Newton possible has a broken eye socket..maby out for 7 weeks..but the doc for country is chekkin him 2day so we should get some info on him laters...X-Rays showed no crack or break but he's gettin n MRI. Although i wont be overly depressed cause im guessing good old Chris Bailey would get his chance in 1st if newto was out..he's the only performing backwroer in premier n coops is out for a fair while with knee injury...but u cant knock newts importance..so hopefully he'll be alright.

On the game wa so surprised that our bench stood up the way it did against the monsters of broncos..brown and Lowrie really held there own in defence..and still made some good meters when it was needed..felt sorry for Mullen tho...had no chance to do anything...its good he's in 1st but he aint a benchy (obviously) and not a hooker..its a shame...gids played well 2day..and will play well if he plays his own game..not joeys style...

ANYWAYS....next week barring injuries should be a damn good game....fingers crossed on this one.

Unfortunately, Clint did suffer a fractured eye-socket yesterday, so he'll be out for a while now I'd imagine. Its a shame for Clint, because he's been on fire this year. Very brave effort for him to come back on yesterday now we know the injury he suffered.

Who we are going to bring in should be an extremely interesting question.

Really White would have first dibs wouldnt he? Possibly Snowden as many people have suggested that he is due for another shot at firsts, I personally would love to see Royal get a go but unfortunately his just come back from injury.

With Joey being fit as well you'd assume that we'll see Mullen back to PL, so whom will the 1 or possibly 2 new faces be?

I was hoping Newton could show some of the form that us Knights fans have known in the beginning of his Representative career against City. If he is indeed out for six weeks, i would bring in Snowden and try to establish him as a permanent first grader.

Cooper is the guy who is rapidly improving as a second rower - and he has firstgrade experience.
I'd like to see a prop added as well.

Farah, Skandalis, Hodgson, Laffranchi are playing for City this week. While we have Quinn and Kidley.

So thats in our favour...

I remember reading in the Newcastle Herald a week or two ago that Cooper was being groomed as "the perfect utility player"

Cooper got injured yesterday, so he wont be in the team. Abraham might come into the team perhaps. I'm not a big fan of Snowden's, he's played a few first grade games and didn't stand out at all, in fact I thought he get smashed. None of our PL forwards have been setting the world on fire, so it will be interesting to see who gets picked.

i hope abes doesnt come into the team if he isnt 100% confident of his leg in premier league he is going to do us or himself no good in 1st grade

The idea on Cooper is that he would have played the last 5-6 games of last season in the back row, in Premier League. Huge sign of a guy that wants to improve, willing to give up 1st grade appearance bonuses to be turned into a backrower.

Only problem was our injury toll, he had to fill in at the backs as we had no-one else. Has played really well in the back row in PL this year though.

He will be the perfect Utility. Able to play Backrow without injuries, and if needed able to slot into wing, centre or fullback. Not to mention his good ball skills as a free running second rower. Huge dissapointment for him to be injured.

Lets face it..

During that time I think most of our forwards were getting smashed. I'm a fan of second chances and think Snowden is deserved of one.
