Ryan will be suspended, so Sheens will put Fitzhenry in and maybe bring Lopina Jackson Kaufusi out of retirement for the other bench spot. Lui will probably be named captain.

No injuries.

If Ryan doesnt get suspended - Sheens will do the same again.

Not my choice - but thats what he will do.

I reckon if no injuries / suspensions Teflon will use same mob. Maybe tinker with their actual roles though........... I dont see any great pressure from U20 / State Cup ranks for a spot as yet.

Brown will come in for suspended Ryan and Ellis/Fulton will probably switch sides I should think. When's Payten back?

Payten is listed as back next week against Parra.

I think Sheens will put Fitzhenry on the wing and Brown or Daniella in for the token three minutes, wasting a bench spot again.

Not sure why Ryan has been named - either they are fighting the charge, or they just named the same team due to the short turnaround from last night and will assess injuries/suspensions during the week.

Putting a back on the interchange bench is plain stupid. Fulton or Flanagan could be pushed to the centres if someone goes down for injury.

Unchanged team- Roosters will bomb Moltzen all night- Struggled again at Fullback but when he ran sliced through the line ball playing looked great....

I don't mind Fitzy to cover Ryan if he is out.

That makes every coach in the NRL plain stupid. Its a regular occurrence for most teams.

Playing someone with in the centers with no experience would be disasterous defensively.

You are entitled to your opinion, can't agree with you though.

Thinking about it, it is more about Fitzhenry, which is like having a back just in case someone goes down. In that instance, a fill in like Fulton or Flanagan would be a far better option imo. A back who can actually inject something into the team IS a different story, in that I agree with you.

Just heard on the news that the Tigers are fighting the charge on Ryan, I don't know that they'll succeed though.

If Ryan is suspended, I dare say Brown will come onto the wing.

It makes no sense to put fitzy in the run on squad and put someone who is exclusively a winger on the bench. You want some versatility on the bench.

Sheens has Fitzy as reserve dummy half, with the ability to also cover lost positions from 1 thru to 7 (debatable).

Brown will come in for Ryan who at very very best is going to get a week and could even end up with four.

I would give the bench another week, really their not going to get better running around in the state league and they should be better for the run

Beau Ryan successfully downgrades 'crusher' charge at judiciary

Crusher ... Beau Ryan. Source: FOX SPORTS

WESTS Tigers winger Beau Ryan has successfully downgraded his charge relating to a "crusher" tackle during Monday's 26-22 win over Manly.

Ryan was hit with a grade three dangerous contact charge for an incident with Sea Eagles winger Michael Robertson during the NRL match.
He was facing a four-week ban after taking the early guilty plea on the charge but successfully had the grading brought down to grade two, meaning he will only miss this weekend's clash against the Sydney Roosters.
Ryan's absence will place a bigger burden on dual international Lote Tuqiri on the wing for the Tigers after the former Wallaby made a strong return to rugby league against Manly.
Sea Eagles forward George Rose will also sit out this weekend's action after taking the early guilty plea for his careless high tackle from the same fiery match.
Rose will be a big omission for the 2008 premiers, who are reeling after former Test fullback Brett Stewart was ruled out for five months with a knee injury.
One other player will be sidelined for disciplinary reasons this weekend - Canterbury's Michael Ennis - who is out for one match after taking an early guilty plea on a careless high tackle.
Manly pair Brent Kite and Kieran Foran as well as Gold Coast's Bodene Thompson and Warrior James Maloney have all escaped suspension from their charges after taking early guilty pleas.
