Next year

i know it's still to early but......

Lomax, he will play origin before he's 21
Blake Lawrie, seriously what's not to like about that kid, tough as teak, every play is at a million miles an hour.
Luciano, next year he will be a weapon.
Dufty will just get better and better with more confidence in attack and defence.

Ad in Host and there's an awful lot to look forward too.

Is it just me or does Blake’s build and attitude remind you of a young Robert Stone?

Shame they couldn't hold onto Herbert too. Jai Field will come along next year if Mary gives him game time.

I agree with the OP that the future is very bright and had Mary given them all proper time during the season then they would been minor premiers.

The way Lawrie and Lomax played today in such a big game was the best thing about today for mine. We do have to look to the future, as well as next week, and now with Luciano making a difference on the scoreboard every game, we have a fair bit to be excited about, all of a sudden!
That's what I'm saying, it's nice at this time of the year to look at a load of young kids and think how good they will be next year, unlike our usual "which player no one else wants are we going to sign for next year"

I think we have it covered in most positions just with the kids.

Just need to sign a gun winger and one more forward and we are top 4 next year...

I was very surprised w Lawries intensity - really full on - - you can rely on him and Luciano to make a difference when they come on....

Ummmmm....

Why are we talking about next year 5 mins after we’ve nearly put 50 on the Broncos in an elimination semi.

Last I looked, it’s still this year.
agreed - but out of all the teams that frighten me in the semis and thats Souths,...theyre a gun team that can score from anywhere with a big mobile pack and GI!! we beat them and i think its as good as a GF win...honestly is...

Yep and we’ll be massive underdogs again.

Thing is, this team plays better when no one gives us a chance.

Rabbits lost a heart breaker against Melbourne. They all looked pretty gutted. Good time to get them.

So I wouldn’t be backing against us next week as I’m sure many in here will.

Maybe that's the secret, next year we ask the NRL for a draw where we only play teams in the top 8, go through the year unbeaten.
