I have read/heard that Parra have been shopping Corey Norman around, but he is on around 900K a season and most clubs are baulking at that price. I have previously suggested that we could and I only said could buy him and play him halfback and move Hunt to hooker. It was only a suggestion and I am very happy with Hunt at halfback, but Norman would be a better game manager. He got his 900K a year contract when he was playing halfback and was even spoken of as being QLD's next halfback at the time. I was never a Norman fan, until I saw him play halfback.................

I have always been a fan of Norman and see him mainly as a 5/8th.
Gave up hope with our current halves pairing being set for the next few years.
I think it would be great value if we could fit him in somehow with Parra paying part of his wage.
Pretty sure we put in a high bid for him a couple of years ago but he chose to stay with Parra for similar money.
Rather than Hunt to hooker and Norman to HB, I am thinking Widdop to FB Norman to 5/8 and Dufty to only get to 1st grade via injuries.
Not sold on Dufty but haven't given up on him yet either.
I would let him develop into the role over the next few years like most other fullbacks.
Its unusual for a youngster to be a regular FB in 1st Grade without an apprenticeship and time on the wing for a few years.
