I love divisional playoffs weekend, it's always good. The big boys come out to play against the winners from the wild card round.

The lineup (all times and TV AEDST):

Washington @ Seattle, 8:30am Sunday (Fox Sports better bloody be showing this live, all hell will break loose if they don't)
New England @ Denver, midday Sunday on ESPN
Pittsburgh @ Indianapolis, 5am Monday on ESPN
Carolina @ Chicago, 8:30am Monday on Fox Sports 1 (pregame coverage is listed as starting at 8am)

What do we all think? There's been a bit of discussion already, I'm pretty strongly going with all four home teams.

Why don't you see it IBG? I don't thin NE was overly convincing against Jacksonville and a banged up QB in Leftwich.

I think a lot of people have bought into the NE hype and it may be the one thing that brings them undone.

I guess this time tomorrow we'll know if the hype was overblown or the real thing.

I don't think they're anywhere near the team they have been the last few years, but with that being said they always seem to pull off the big win. Their coaching staff is the best in the league, I reckon, as they always seem to baffle an opposing team. I can't stand them to be honest, but you have to give the Pats credit.

I think it'll be a huge test for Plummer, time will tell if he can handle it or not.

Seattle over Washington. I'm sure Foxsports will show the game live and that it was a miscommunication over the starting time. Although given the lack of NFL knowledge in the foxsports programming dept. anything's possible.

Denver over New England. Potential match of the round. New England won't die quietly but this Patriots team is too injured to take out a fresh and highly motivated Denver team.

Colts over Steelers. Only danger I see for the Colts is if they are a little too rested and can't find the go button. It's a trap that teams have fallen into in the past and the Steelers are a team capable of causing an upset if the Colts come out flat after a long lay off for mony of their starters.

Panthers over Bears. Their always seems to be at least one upset in this round and I think the Panthers can do it. Pity I'll be at work when this game is on but that's what the recorder is for.

Seattle - Too much scoring ability

Broncos - Because they will :D we proved ourselves against them earlier in the year... we will do it again and give Brady his first playoffs loss.

Colts - Only on form, i think the steelers will push them... i'll be going for the Steelers (so broncs get hme field adv) but i dont think they can do it, same goes with the redskins, i dont think the steelers can score more than their opposition..

Chicago - Does anyone know who will win this one? I sure dont :?

Redskins barely alive after that Seattle FG.
Seattle 17-3.
Only problem for Seattle is they don't have Shaun Alexander to run out the clock.

17-10 Hawks, 8:01 left the 4th. Hall just missed a FG for the Skins after they recovered a kickoff fumble by the 'Hawks.

20-10 Seattle 2:54 left in the game. Tough for the Redskins to come back for the win but still hope with the way the Hawks have been fumbling.

Tough game and Plummer needs to keep his head and Denver are in with a real shot. They are setting up the run with the pass but the Pats wont roll over so this is going to be a cracker of a second half.

If Denver can control the clock with Anderson and Bell, they can keep Brady off the field and wear down the Pats D.

We have the ball on the opening drive of the second half and the Broncos need to come away with at least an FG to open up a bit of a buffer.

Dont ever count the patsies out though..

Been a great game, Denver was helped by a lucky call that could go either way, but thats football.

Great tackle by our punter caused a fumble and allowed us to kick the FG just before halftime for us (Broncos) to lead 10 - 3.

Very entertaining game for a 10 - 3 game and it can only get better in the 2nd half, both teams are putting it all on the line, the broncos need to get to Brady more in the 2nd half to cause some mistakes and make him a little bit sore, im happy with out run defence, but we need our O-line to get more of a push at the line to open up some gaps for our backs so we can get the play action going which Plummer is so good at.

All and all a pretty good half of football, two quality teams playing a playoff how it should be played.

Now back to the game, might crack open a VB, enjoy it and GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!
