Yes, I've been hoping Legend will jump in to give it some variety.

BTW, as a manager, how much holiday time is Legend allowed away from the forum, anyway? It's been a bit of a long time, hasn't it?

steve, you seem to have forgotten that neil o'donnell threw away a superbowl for the steelers against the cowboys. i know it is painful to remember it but you must embrace that pain, it makes the victories that much sweeter.

that would make it eight appearances for the cowboys.

also, if the broncos lost to the cowboys in the 70s that would mean the broncos have also lost four superbowls to four different teams - cowboys, giants, redskins, 49ers.

Steve,
Seeing Legend isn't here to defend himself, I'll say he has too many holidays... right now while others are working, he is sipping on champagne and lazing by a pool... surrounded by a bevvy of nubile nympths... hang on, thats what I'm doing...!
Well I bet Legend is doing the same.. bastard!
;)

you must embrace that pain, it makes the victories that much sweeter - ouch - how could I forget - trouble is, the 4 SB victories were a long time ago.

You're right, realraul, you've caught me in 2 miscounts. It would be a lot easier if I got a list of all the Super Bowl results in front of me, instead of going on memory.:)

The Legend-watch continues. Will he make it back before the new year? Couldn't he have taken a laptop with him?

Looking at the 4 remaining teams: Which 2 have met in a previous Super Bowl?

it has to be the raiders and the eagles.

let's see who pays attention to the screen. which player has scored the most career touchdowns in the post season ? and how many ?

nope.

actually, three players hold the record. one has a chance to make it his own this weekend. the other two were the driving force for their offenses in the 90s.

all three have played in multiple superbowls.

Jerry Rice must be the one who's playing this weekend. I'll guess Emmitt Smith and Terrel Davis as the 2 driving forces of their offences in the 90s, with Buffalo's Thurman Thomas as an outside bet.

yep, the three players were rice, smith and thomas. they have each scored 21 touchdowns in the postseason. three hall of famers in that bunch. is there a record that rice doesn't own ? damn he's good.

Interesting that a receiver is tied with 2 rb's in touchdowns. Of course rice would have played in more playoff games than the other 2. It's amazing that he's still going well at his age.

So it's someone more recent who passed Thurman Thomas. Terrel Davis or Eddie George?

Of the undefeated teams, only the 49ers have won more than one.

About 10 years ago the Steelers and Packers were in group 1, and the Broncos and Patriotswere in group 3. Will any of group 4 get to the big game this year? I think only the Bucs have a chance.

Go ahead with a question if you like.
</td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table>
Not the greatest prediction ever, but I did call the Bucs geting to their first SB.
