EQUINOPHOBIA (a fear of horses) is no laughing matter. Especially when you're an NFL star and your team mascot has four legs and neighs.
Kansas City Chiefs defensive player Eric Berry lost his bundle after a woman rode the team's mascot, 'Warpaint', onto the field at a home game late last year.
Turns out Berry is deathly afraid of horses, causing him to stop worrying about the game, his coach's instructions or anything else at the stadium while the beast was in sight.
"Oh hell no, they got that horse," Berry says after first noticing Warpaint ride in, before making a beeline for the bench.

As he continues to freak out, he worries that "it might come over here and throw a tantrum".
When one of his teammates points out that he saw the female rider earlier in the season, Berry yells: "I ain't worried about the chick, I'm worried about the horse!"
Might go some way to explaining the Chiefs' dismal record of two wins and 14 losses for the season.
