Until recently I would have said neither - I've never had any pets except a fish named Tiger who passed away last year But recently I have got to know my sister's flatmate's cats and they are gorgeous! And clean, and intelligent

Cats are scammers who only snuggle up to you to get your warmth, in truth they think they are above you, where as a dog will love you and respect you.

MC DUI, I think you are right about cats. They totally bar you if they don't feel like your company, and they really do use you for your warmth. But I think it's adorable - they go for what they want!

I just can't handle the thought of dog slobber. I've never had a dog though so maybe I'll change my mind one day. An ex-boy had a dog and he was a slobber machine - ugh!

haha MC DUI was that that clam thing originally full of ice? i was at a party a while back and we filled one of them with ice for the beer, one of the guys living there had the same sort of dog and it just parked itself on top. They must deadset crave the cold.

I love my 2 cats.... which live in Port Macquarie
Their more independant than dogs... and I like that, I like dogs too don't get me wrong, but I don't have to clean up cats poop, take them for walks, you only really have to bath them once a month as their clean animals. The only thing you have to watch is there games with the wildlife.
I would post pictures of my cats... but their not hosted... trust me their sooooo cute

I'm forever trying to stop cats peeing in the garden. They're annoying, they make crying noises at night and think they can lay claim to the front door. If it were legal, I would shoot at them with a spud-gun.

Dogs are just too smelly and stupid.

No pets for me - I used to have some budgies, but they made a fair bit of noise and died while in the care of another family member (wasn't her fault though). I have no intention of having any more pets to look after.

yeah im with you! they are cute when they are little but then when they grow up i dont like them. i love dogs especailly golden retreivers and labrodors, they are so cute!

:lol: Nah, we bought the pool for it to use because it gets bloody hot here in SA during summer. She has however been given a bunch of freezer bricks to lay on before by my girlfriend :roll:

I'm a both person. My parents have a 5 year old border collie named Mac and she's the most affectionate dog I've ever known! I have a cat named George, she's the world's biggest sook unless she's hungry...then she drives me nuts!

I've never really liked cats. There's just something about them. (stevo if you read this ... Jessie can be an exception ;-) ). I like dogs better ... but I'd never have either as a pet ... I'm lazy and I'd be worried about my house smelling like dog or having fur everywhere from a cat. I know, I'm fussy!
