Johnsy and Slater advocating for an eventual Tricky @ 7 and Nicho @ 6.
Joey reckons “Sharks fans should be salivating thinking about Tricky and Nicho…”

Stoked for Tricky.
He’s been ready for 2 years, would have been starting at heaps of other clubs, but chose to bide his time.

He brained them early last year before Nicho returned. And that was playing within a structure designed for Nicho/Moylan.

Having a whole off season where he’s the man, I’m quietly confident he can take it up a notch this year.

Well happy for him that he’s picked up the Preston Campbell Medal.

Good for Tricky for getting man of the match. At least he does look like he has more than 40% indigenous DNA in his system.

The thing for me, albeit in this one game, was that Tricky was more "the man" than Nicho was.

Not that Nicho didn't play well, he did, it was just evident that it was Trix running the show IMO.

Both had a couple of wonky kicks. Trix when he kicked downtown to what looked to be for JAC and HTF but it went the other way where there was no one chasing. Nicho had a couple of those nothing kicks, not a bomb, not a distance kick, not a grass finder. Just a couple of WTF kicks.

Very encouraging performance and was just great to see Trindall get the Preston Medal.

Trindall showed good composure. On the first try he got the timing right to give Mitchell time to pick the cut out to Addo Carr. It didn't look special but he got it right.

Smart short kicks for 2 more tries. In previous years he has looked a bit anxious looking for big plays.

Defended well, communicated well. Looks to be gaining confidence.

Hopefully, Trindall's growth allows Hynes to pick his moments without feeling that he needs to be on the ball constantly.
