IMO he was lucky. I was with the judge who scored it 116-112 Tua not the one who scored it 116-112 the other way. If it was in NZ or Samoa I know who would have got it. (but thats boxing). Remember they had to recheck the 114 score card. (it took a lot longer than your normal tallying & recheck).I thought something was fishy even before they gave the result.
Cant remember who promoted the fight? But yeh I'd say he Rahman was lucky to get a draw.
Rahman hasnt performed since he won the title. If he'd hit Tua half as hard as he hit Lewis he would have knocked him out. Only one guy looked close to being decked in the fight and it wasnt Tua. (though Rahman appeared to finish a touch stronger Tua was never in any trouble).

That's par for the course when you're fighting Tua though, the guy is pretty much impossible to KO. The slip at the end of the Rachman ficght is the only time he's ever been down and he's never been hurt. You beat Tua by outboxing him. Don't try to outslug him because you'll lose every time.

LOL, Rahman knocked Tua down when the bell ended the last round. Lucky for Tua it was just over.

Oh and Ike outslugged Tua.
