Nene, sure he scores from kicks and does some freakish things to get the ball down.

But have you ever, ever, seen him in the correct position to catch a pass from a regular backline movement?
People will attack Dufty for not passing the ball from the break he made, but Nene was completely out of position to receive any pass thrown, as usual.

Did anyone see Nighty run down Cody Walker from behind yesterday?

When was the last time you saw either winger get on the end of an extended backline play and run 60 metres to score.
You haven’t, cause we have two centres in Aitken and Lafai who have no idea how to run into a hole and set up a winger.
Aitken can’t pass the ball, Lafais only play is the flick pass, which he has put away this year due to the fact Nene is never in the right position to catch it anyway.

Theoretically you can add a few more which should have been scored except for the dumb / unnecessary forward passes the opposition through.

It's not just Gypsy fault.

Mary Its not rocket science !!
You have 4 attacking players (and maybe a decoy) running the big swing out wide to winger or wrap around fullback.
Then you have Frizz, Widdop, Aiken and Gypsy in the defensive line.
Issues:
Frizz doesn't shuffle across and jam in, then attempt a high body tackle....leaves a gap
Widdop breaks the line and runs at player with ball, ....leaves a gap
Aiken shuffles in leaving gap between gypsy...gap.
Gypsy see this huge mistake and jams into space left by Aiken...GAP on wing and touch line. Attacking teams scores every time.
solution:
Run the defensive line fast and straight, NO GAPS.Then convert to semi open umbrella formation even if it means Gypsy is standing offside. Give away a penalty on the wing rather than allowing a try.
Warriors, Bunnies, Storm do this perfectly.

Simple solution for Mary to understand and explain to his team.
JUST MARK UP AND STAY ON THE PLAYER IN FRONT OF YOU.

Yesterday was 100% nighty ... Hunt was screaming at him and pointing at the winger as he had the centre covered ... nighty ignored this came in and gifted the try ... he is so bad these days in defence .. bad decisions, slow to react .. not close to the awesome player he once was

I get your frustration with Nighty, but you're just making that up if you're talking about the first try?
Hunt was screaming at Dufty and telling him to attack the ball carrier (Cody Walker from memory) and pointing to the inside, certainly not pointing to the winger. After the try was scored Hunt then gave Dufty a spray.
Cool story though!
