I read Whare is fully focussed, wants to stay, wants his spot back. He accepts that he may have to spend time in reserves.

I'm getting the feeling that Waqa Blake is going to be the first centre selected. I believe his time has come.
To think, a little over 12 months ago he had been written off by most. Since the 9's last year he has hit his straps. I can't wait to see how he goes this year.
A few wrote him off and i did say he needed 2016 in NSW cup but injuries didn't allow that. He's the perfect example of an athlete and not a footballer, he gets compared to Inglis who is both. He'll never have the career that turncoat will but he can still be a very good centre. Im backing him for top try scorer in 2017
I agree that he is an athlete. But I also think there is a footballer developing nicely in there as well. iirc he didn't start playing until he was in his teens. His decision making improved out of sight last year. He still could be anything.
