What a waste of space this bloke is. I don't even consider him to be a Wests Tiger his just here to collect the cash and couldn't care less.
Missed something like 70 tackles this year that's 3 times more tackles than any other prop in the NRL.

I honestly think that nobody wants to take him so there is not much point trying to shop him around.

If we can be rid of him, even if we have to pay half his salary for the next couple of seasons, at least he wil not be there unbalancing the team, providing perverse effect on selections due to his massive salary against effort and forcing a shuffling of the squad simply to accommodate him where he can best contribute rather than where he should be playing ie in the backdrop.

Not an ideal situation, in fact a crappy situation, but a stand is made and the final piece of the mad sheens jigsaw puzzle of player recruitment is put in the past. Let it be a lesson to the board and the club in general to never let these conditions thrive and fester ever again.

Apparently we are subsidising Gibbs and Heighingtons money at the Sharks already. Adding Blair to this as well as paying Sheens is madness. Stick him in the front row and force whatever value we can get out of him for the remaining 2 years.

If we were shopping him around to free up cap space to sign a marquee player,than I would say okay, but to just move him on and be still picking up about 25% or more of his contract value would be madness. Its not like he is a out and out dud,on the other hand Anasta,he should be moved on at what ever cost

Pretty sure that Hino was only subsidised for this season. Gibbs' will be paid next year for the last time by the Tigers.

Gibbs was only on about 200k, so we should have quite a fair bit of space in the cap now, especially with benji's departure.

If Blair is on something around 500 to 600k does this mean that he can never be dropped as it blows out our second tier salary cap with his inclusion ?

No, that only happens if he isn't selected as one of our top 25 squad players.

Theres no reason why we can't name him in the top 25 & play him in NSW cup all year
