If we can be rid of him, even if we have to pay half his salary for the next couple of seasons, at least he wil not be there unbalancing the team, providing perverse effect on selections due to his massive salary against effort and forcing a shuffling of the squad simply to accommodate him where he can best contribute rather than where he should be playing ie in the backdrop.
