No Hindy - No can win

Honestly is this club a one man team or what? It's not coincidence that every time Hindy doesn't play Parra lose he just does so much quality work.

Moi Moi - please put him back to the bench he is having no impact starting the game. Start with Cordoba and bring him on later.

Lowrie - Offers nothing except makes a lot of second man in tackles. Not suitable for first grade please send him back to Newcastle and return Zeb and Faoso who both looked good for the Knights.

Wagon - Has been a great club man over the years but time has marched on and it is time to go. Too slow and has no impact.

Reddy - Goes alright in attack but his defence is terrible, always out of position, taking wrong options and is a jumper grabber. If Thurston is a speed bump then Reddy is a pebble on the F1, missed 7 tackles last week and god know how many this week.

Actually all our oustide backs look lost in defence. Do they train together or even talk to each other? Our defence in general seems so slow moving off the line, every time the warriors had the ball they seemed to make heaps of ground and almost every kick they made today was an attacking one because they were marching so far upfield. 20 missed tackles in the 1st half and that was the better half we played!

Hopefully it is just another slow start to the season but so far, and I know it is only round 2, we do not look anywhere near as good as teams like the Storm, Sharks, Roosters, Broncos and Titans(big call still not played this round) who look like they are all a class above.

Whatd did Cordoba do wrong?

And John is awesome too.

Cordoba is solid, I just think the others have more potential. Maybe flip a coin between Hauraki and Cordoba for a bench spot. Its a case of too many players and not enough positions.

I actually reckon John Mannah outpltayed Tim on the weekend. And Josh is one of the few forwards who has actually been playing well - certainly better than Fui....

Well, he saved 3 tries last week. If he'd done the same this week it could have been a very tight game.

It is a sad reality that we are a one man team............ all those years of people putting sh*t on Newcastle (from all fans far and wide) and yet we have been overlooked as also being one of those teams...

Statistics show that our record without hindy is actually better then our record with hindy. Was in an article last season. Hindy would have done little to prevent that loss yesterday.

Hindy was definatley needed out there yesterday, how many loose balls we're not dropped on with him not being there, as well as our scrambling defence was ordinary. He wouldn't have changed thw result but it would have been closer.

Hindy would have stopped rovelli's try some how lol, he would of come from no where and make the tackle.

As for fui, i think with the new 10 limit interchange, it could be effecting him. Players are fitter now and maybe switching he and cordoba would help the team. If fui were to come on for the last 15 or 20 min b4 halftime he could create havoc.

Cordoba has been one of our best in the opening rounds. Maybe deserves a shot in the number 10

Come on don't bring facts into a irrational response to a poor game.

take a marquee player out of any side and you're generally weaker in most areas...Hindy with us is no different.

I don't think it should be an excuse though. Still you have to win without your best players, yes you guys did miss him on Sunday, but I thought you guys still could have beaten us.

warriors were missing their marquee player too in steve price. and i think price provides much more than hindy does for their team..

I think it is more what Hindy is to the team, its his muscling up and providing gusto to the players out there that serve us more so well.
Without him it seems we forget we can do the hard things
