No need to panic

It seems to me that Sharks supporters have definitely changed over the years.

8 weeks out and we are already writing off any chance of the finals, slashing wrists, invocking deities, planning holidays, lamenting our loss.

Not me , not yet.

With age comes patience nad its not time just yet.

You don't win a prem in July( I think I've said that every month since Feb).

For mine I will walk down the hill and root them all (sic)...

so we have a month to get the house in order then a month to show what we can do then a month to win the bloody comp.

New blood, enthusiasm for the task and calm, focused commitment are the orders of the day.

The games not done yet.

Actually only seven weeks to go, mate.

This year is turning into one of the darkest in memory. Our best player this year has just been ruled out for several weeks. We have nothing in attack, just lost to the team running second last. They made ten line breaks to our one. We haven't score more than 12 points for over a month. Both of our 'experienced ' halves are out injured, another four players suspended, including a state of origin rep. Watts has shown that he is not quite up to it yet.

It doesn't get any worse. We're gone, this year aint the one, never was going to be. Acceptance will cause a lot less pain. To be honest, we don't deserve to be in the finals, that would be a reward for mediocrity.

We have time to at least show some potential and build confidence for next season. I will be satisified with that.
