Any news on whats happend with New Haven and Oneida why are they not listed on the USARL website anymore?
This will accommodate the restructure with the AMNRL.
pennpool you are an absolute gutless wonder.
why do you refuse to announce who you are and your allegiance.
as an interesd external party with no loyalty than i want the game to grow in the usa, your constant anonymous sniping erodes any credibility your opinions may carry.
Agreed, its shit like this that stalls the growth of our game!!!
Nice spin.....good damage limitation.
Umm, am I the only one who thinks one of the main points of being on an internet forum is maintaining anonymity? It is just stupid to discount his point of view because he doesn't state who he is. We are all hiding behind a key board here people! He may be a moron and make ridiculous posts, or he might just be telling the truth and calling people out on their BS, but I think it is better to make idiotic posts, or truthful posts that are insulting, anonymously rather than make posts and have everyone know who you are and impact your relationships in the real world. I for one one would not want my posts on any internet forum impacting my dealing in the real world, because half the time I'm on here tuned up just trying to stir the pot! There are a lot of people on here who take this forum too personally. If Pennpool admitted who he was, he could just as easily be lying, because this is an internet freaking forum.
And he is right in this case, there is no rosy spin you can apply to 2 teams dropping out of the competition. To say 2 teams dropping out will be a "great development" is ridiculous. I was part of a team that had to sit a year out and it was the furthest thing from a "great development".
Why not try a 9's comp (like what is happening with the RIR/B13's) or something similar to try to get things going closer to home. Living in country NSW I fully understand and have travelled similar distances to play footy but if you modify games to suit the circumstances at least you get people interested in RL.Plus it's not like these teams are vanishing off the map like the New Jersey Turnpike Titans. From the perspective of a developing team, we have to drive 4 hours EACH WAY for any game we play, and thats our closest opponent. To be able to drop down into a lower league and have less travel can only be a good thing, I would love to have teams that close to me!

Mate, when my brother and I were kids we used to play across the road on the neighbours 2 metre wide grass nature strip which was wedged between a metre high brick wall and the road! Trust me, no one EVER got tackled into touch....:lol:BINGO - ou modify games to suit the circumstances at least you get people interested in RL.
Both teams have a hard time traveling... like i hear the other teams in the AMNRL do.... This helps them contiune their team until the can attain the height of a USARL full on club... but at this point asking them to leave their neighborhood is a big ask for them and for their commitment levels.... this is what the AMNRL tried to disguise with their uneven schedule that they had in the sense that teams could go 3 -4 seasons witout playing one another.
